Yesterday, Mike and I took Ronan up to Battery Spencer to see the Golden Gate Bridge.
It was extremely windy and crowded; I chalk the fact that I didn’t lose my visor off my head up to sheer luck.
I thought we were being clever by arriving late in the day (5 PM), but I guess we weren’t the only ones with the same idea because it was beyond packed. It took a lot of determination to get a parking space. Lots of irate drivers (and cyclists!).
Once we found parking, we took a short walk to the vista for these pictures.
We wanted to make the trek down to Kirby Cove, but were ill-prepared for the journey so we turned around after only a half mile.
We’ll return another day and check it out.
