This weekend we took Ronan up to Marin County for short “hike” (read: easy walk) through Cascade Canyon. Since we experienced a bit of rainfall this past week, I figured that now would be our best chance at catching a glimpse at an active waterfall.
Unfortunately, the falls have desiccated to all but a trickle. We truly are in a drought.
Despite our disappointment (and our newly heightened awareness of our own water consumption), we had an enjoyable saunter through the woods before grabbing some Puerto Rican food at Sol Food and heading home just in time to watch the Warriors clobber the Cavs. Today was a good day.
